Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SignalCrawler stores about you and why.

What we store

• Account: your email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), confirmation status and sign-in dates.
• Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google tells us your email address, whether Google has verified it, and a Google account identifier that links it to your account. We ask for nothing else (no name, contacts or other Google data) and receive no Google password.
• Audits: the websites you audit, the settings you choose, crawl results, screenshots of audited pages and the generated reports.
• Search Console data: if you attach a Search Console export to an audit, your browser reads the file and sends us only the figures from it (pages with their clicks, impressions, CTR and position, device totals and daily totals). We keep them with that audit and delete them with it; the file itself is never uploaded.
• Payments: order records — package, amount, status and the payment identifier. Payment itself is handled by NOWPayments; we do not receive or store wallet keys.
• Technical data: IP address of sign-ins and requests, kept for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not store

HTTP authentication passwords you enter for staging sites are kept in memory only for the duration of that audit and are never written to disk, included in reports or sent to AI providers.

Processors

To write report summaries, audit findings (not your account data), including the Search Console figures they quote, are sent to an AI model provider. Payments are processed by NOWPayments. Google handles sign-in when you choose Sign in with Google. Transactional emails are sent through our mail provider. We do not sell data and do not use advertising trackers.

Share links

By default only you can read your reports. You can make a link for one report: anyone who has the link can read that report, its screenshots and the downloads made from it, without an account, and cannot change anything. Making a new link or choosing “Stop sharing” ends the old link at once. Search Console figures you attached are part of the report they see.

Retention and deletion

You can delete any audit from its report page; this removes the report and its screenshots. To delete your account and all associated data, email smartscan.tools@gmail.com from the address on the account. Order records may be kept longer where accounting rules require it.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
