Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SignalCrawler (“the service”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
SignalCrawler analyses publicly accessible websites and produces audit reports: technical SEO, indexability, mobile layout, performance, accessibility basics and functional problems. Reports combine automated measurements with AI-generated explanations. They are informational and do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or compliance with any law or standard. The accessibility checks are basic and are not a WCAG conformance assessment; security observations are preliminary and are not a security audit.
Your account
You need an account to run audits. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. 3 free scans are granted per person at sign-up. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free scans is not allowed.
Acceptable use
- Audit only websites you are allowed to access. Do not use the service to probe private networks, circumvent access controls or overload a website.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or automate access to the service beyond normal use.
- We may refuse, stop or rate-limit audits that look abusive, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Scans and payments
Audits are paid for with scans. One standard scan covers one audit of up to 500 URLs; a deep scan uses 2 scans. Scans are sold in packages, paid in cryptocurrency through NOWPayments, and are added after the payment is confirmed on the network. Scans do not expire and are not exchangeable for money.
A scan is returned to your balance automatically if an audit fails on our side. Because scans are digital and delivered immediately, purchases are otherwise non-refundable. If a payment arrives short of the invoice or you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at smartscan.tools@gmail.com and include the order number.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features, limits and prices; changes to prices do not affect scans already purchased. We may update these terms and will note the date above.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on a report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the scans concerned.
