Content Removal
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Who this is for
You wrote a post that shows up as evidence behind a signal, you run a site we read and don't want it included, or you'd simply rather your content wasn't referenced here. Any of these is a valid reason to ask — you don't need to justify it further.
How to request removal
Email smartscan.tools@gmail.com with:
- The URL(s) of the post or page in question, or the signal it appears under;
- Whether you want that specific post removed, or your entire site excluded from future scans.
What happens next
We remove the referenced evidence from any signal it appears under, and — if you asked for your whole site to be excluded — mark that source so future scans skip it. We aim to complete this within 5 business days and will confirm by email once it's done. There's no fee and no form to fill beyond the email above.
Note that raw scraped post content is already deleted automatically 48 hours after any scan collects it (see the Data Sources Policy) — a removal request mainly affects the short evidence excerpt and link kept alongside a signal, since that's what can outlive the 48-hour window.
